Andrew V. Afifian
Andrew's combination of litigation experience and broad educational background allows him to provide unique perspectives and capabilities that can be invaluable to clients. After graduating from Fordham Law and clerking for the Hon. Edward J. Turnbach in Superior Court New Jersey, and then spending several years litigating high stakes cases for both plaintiffs and defendants in fast paced New York City, Andrew decided to return to his hometown of Dallas. Here, back at SMU, he completed a biology major to add to his political science degree, reinforcing and building upon the technical background he had acquired in several detailed pharmaceutical cases. Today, he utilizes his field of knowledge for clients whose needs range from bankruptcy (Chapters 7 and 11) to bad drug litigation and other product liability and commercial litigation.
