Scott A. Sharp
After graduating from Baylor Law School, Scott gained critical legal experience working as a legal analyst for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas. During this time he became well-versed with the four federal courts of Texas and wrote a user-friendly manual, outlining the current e-filing rules. Soon after, Scott joined a local Dallas firm where he represented clients on a variety of commercial litigation matters including actions on promissory notes, business lines of credit and commercial leases, garnishment proceedings and home equity loan foreclosures. Scott has also worked on matters involving IT litigation, oil and gas leases and insurance coverage litigation. Scott’s experience extends to appellate law, as he has prepared articles, CLE presentations and a legal practical guide on appellate law.
