Varant is a trial lawyer and represents business entities in all facets of litigation. He has handled a wide variety of disputes including commercial litigation, tort matters, and employment disputes. His experience includes defending and prosecuting claims for breach of contract, fraud, violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, negligence, misappropriation of trade secrets, trespass, and nuisance. He also has experience handling various forms of real estate disputes as well. While he has enjoyed defending clients in across a broad spectrum of industries, he has particular experience defending businesses in the energy sector from tort claims.
Varant has a unique experience level. He has first-chair trial experience in federal court and has defended clients in state courts throughout Texas. He has led the defense of many clients and, as a result, has broad experience arguing matters before both federal and state judges.
