A trial lawyer for more than 36 years, Darrell is a partner in the firm's Corpus Christi office. His accomplishments as a trial lawyer have been recognized by his peers, who have elected him as a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has been selected for the Texas Super Lawyers list for ten consecutive years, and was honored by Best Lawyers as the 2012 Lawyer of the Year for Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants in Corpus Christi. Darrell qualified as one of the five Personal-Injury finalists for the 2012 Go-To-Guide, published by Texas Lawyer. He is available to present on a variety of trial-technique topics.

Angela’s practice focuses on insurance and coverage matters. She is available to present on insurance law topics, including coverage disputes, general negligence and commercial claims.

Richard has been litigating cases for more than 30 years, primarily defending personal injury cases, including products liability, premises liability, professional liability, and toxic torts. He has served as an instructor for a number of State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education courses. He is available to present on litigation skills as well as numerous practice-specific topics.

A founding partner of the firm, Kyle has served as lead trial counsel in virtually every state, and has successfully tried many complex cases over the course of his 28 year legal career. He is a nationally respected authority in the field of trial law, and a frequent presenter on a variety of trial-related subjects, skills and strategies. He has served as adjunct professor at Baylor Law School and was selected for the faculty of the International Association of Defense Counsel 2012 Trial Academy.

Larry is a partner at HDBD with more than thirty years of trial experience. He serves on the Products Liability Law Webinar Advisory Board for Strafford. One of his recent webinar presentations is entitled:

Larry is available to speak about trial strategies and techniques, automotive product liability, deceptive trade practices and warranty litigation, and toxic torts.

Wendy is an experienced trial attorney who has defended against a number of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful-death claims, as well as toxic-exposure cases. She is also called on for crisis-management services and to advise on policy directives and national product recall campaigns. Wendy is a member of the National Center for State Courts Lawyers' Committee. She has presented at the Texas State Bar – Bar Leader Conference and other programs, in addition to presentations for the Product Liability Advisory Council and the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Jeff is the Managing Partner of the firm, and he is available to speak about patent litigation, product liability, fire and casualty, and employment litigation. He recently presented at the ACI Fire and Casualty Claims and Litigation Conference:

Marshall practices Construction Law, and has presented a variety of continuing legal-education programs on construction related topics. He is on the Board of the Foundation Performance Association and has in-depth knowledge of building foundation issues and the legal challenges associated with foundation defect claims.

Adrienne's practice focuses on litigation, transactional, and compliance matters involving business and commercial law, automotive and equipment product liability, personal injury defense, contracts, warranty, fraud, deceptive trade practices, intellectual property, and copyright and trademark registration.

Mike is a highly experienced trial attorney, most well-known for his defense of asbestos cases. He recently presented as a panelist at Masters of the Courtroom: Elite Trial Attorneys Share Their Methods. He is available to present on topics such as Toxic Tort Litigation and advanced trial techniques.
