Wendy D. May

Partner

Wendy May is an experienced trial attorney with a reputation for persuasive arguments in the courtroom and a track record of impressive results for her clients.

Wendy applies her talent for problem-solving to the complex litigation cases she handles for clients. Her defense strategies focus on presenting a clear and compelling case to the jury. Her passionate representation of clients makes her a formidable adversary at trial.

She represents clients in a wide range of industries, such as automobile, tire, and child protection equipment manufacturers and suppliers, petrochemical manufacturers and suppliers, fall protection equipment, premises owners, trucking companies and excess insurance carriers.

She acts as national and regional lead trial counsel for her clients, providing representation in state and federal courts across the U.S. Wendy has repeatedly defended and tried catastrophic injury and death claims involving numerous defect allegations; she has also successfully represented manufacturers and suppliers in toxic exposure cases. She is called on by national clients for crisis management services and advises on policy directives and national product recall campaigns.

Wendy brings her same energy, policy vision and advocacy skills as a successful trial attorney to benefit others in the global community, volunteering her time and talent for several local and national non-profit organizations. She is the Chairman of the Board for iCivics.org, working closely with retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to lobby for improved civics education for today’s youth. Wendy is also an advocate and fundraiser for World Vision, a child sponsorship organization committed to fighting poverty and hunger in Africa and around the globe. In addition, is actively involved in her church, serves on a number of committees for the IADC and supports the Genesis Women’s Shelter for battered women and their children and the Dallas Pregnancy Resource Center.
