Working at Hartline Barger

WE’RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE THE BEST

When Hartline Barger was formed, we asked ourselves a simple question: Should we focus on being large, or on being the best? We chose the latter. Since that day, we’ve placed a heavy emphasis on selecting team members who are respectful, collaborative, and devoted to serving clients and peers. But above all, we seek out attorneys and support staff who exhibit the potential and drive to become the best at what they do.

If you’re ready to work with some of the best trial attorneys in the country, take on a diverse docket of high-profile cases, and immerse yourself in a corporate culture that upholds the highest standards of professionalism, contact us and submit your resume to careers@hartlinebarger.com.

Summer Associates Program

GET YOUR CAREER OFF TO THE BEST POSSIBLE START

Our Summer Associate Program is not like your typical internship. We’re very particular about who we accept. After all, in the last decade, we’ve hired more than 20 of our Summer Associates to join the firm as full-time associates after graduation.

As a Summer Associate, you’ll be paired with a partner and associate mentor who will give you an insider’s view of the types of cases we represent, provide an environment where your questions and contributions are welcome, and empower you to take on meaningful projects when appropriate. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one. But we do expect you to have the drive to work hard, learn quickly, and make the most of the opportunities that are put before you.

How To Apply

We select our summer associates with the intent of hiring them after graduation. Due to the high volume of interest in our program, we select our summer associate candidates through our On Campus Interview (OCI) programs. If your law school does not have an OCI program and you are interested in our summer associate program, please email summers@hartlinebarger.com to learn more.

As always, we look forward to seeing the caliber of this year’s candidates and wish you the best of luck.
